I plan to do my activity during the winter. This is because skiing requires snow. There are indoor skiing places but not around here. I will ski on Saturday during school trips. I may ski once or twice during the winter with out the school. I will mostly ski on local New Hampshire mountains. Some of these mountains are Waterville, Loon, Cannon, Pats Peak, and Cranmore. I would start out in the morning and ski as long as I am not tired, cold, weather permitting or the mountain closes for the night. I will try not to go skiing during bad conditions. I can ski from December to March or April. When I go to collage I do not know where I will be or how often I will be able to ski. But I will try to ski during the Christmas break if I am in New Hampshire. As a result of having a job, I will have to ask for Saturdays of when a skiing trip is happening. This means I will have to know almost 2 weeks in advanced. I hope to ski at least 3 times every winter, but hopefully more.

Goals
Be able to ski moguls easily by 2010
Be able to go on all double black diamonds 2010
Understand jumps better by 2011
Visit 4 other mountains besides the ones mentioned above by age 25
Master backwards skiing in bunny slopes 2011
Go skiing indoors by end of life on earth
Ski in another country

like some people saying that ping-pong is not that popular sport, because it is ping-pong is very easy to learn and you don't spend that much time to play each separate games. but by now, i can prove that ping pong also can be big sport by this time period, and my resources that i looked up for it.

actual playing the activities that each people like is way better than just research, and learn by books about it.

so, as i chose ping-pong to learn about, i should make some times to actually play it, istead of sitting down infrond of computer, hang on the phone, go out and go to movies with friends.

i guess i want to play ping-pong like pretty much every time. because ping-pong isn't that really just outside sport or inside sport. when it is bad condition, then i can play inside of building. there is fitness center near my house so.. i can play there when i arrived at Korea.

my goal is pretty much just be able to exercise my each body part well by playing this activity.

Jumping rope is very useful because it doesnt take me that long to exercise and work out and it doesnt require me a big space and its easy and not expansive like other work out machines.
Jump roping for at least fifteen minutes a day would be the best.
the only obstacles i may have would be me being lazy. I am planning on jump roping while i am back in korea for the summer so i could be in shape. While i am here in America, i will be working out at least 4 times a week and if i dont have enough time, then i will be jump roping.

My goals would be..
-being able to run for 30 mins without stoping
-jumproping at least 3 times a week over the summer

The thing I love about ultimate frisbee is that it can be played virtually anywhere, at anytime, and no specific equipment is needed besides a frisbee. Ultimate is a good sport to play for the rest of your life because it is a lot of fun and easy to play. But since Ultimate requires a lot of running I would need to stay in shape. In order to do that I would run 3 times a week for the rest of my life. The more I run the better shape I would be in. I would play Ultimate whenever I got the chance whether it's after school, after work, or after our 20 year high school anniversy I would find time to play ultimate. My Short term goals for Ultimate would be
-Get in good Shape
-Play twice a week
-Start a school team

My long term goals would be
-Join a real Ultimate Team
-Play once a week
-Stay in shape

A nice thing about karate is that its usually an indoor sport so you can do it all year long. I'd like to be able to do karate at least three times a week because it is a cardio sport. My obtacle is that it's time consuming and i don't have a lot of time to spare. But i can move my schedule around so it cold work out.
My goals are:
-to stay in shape
-to go 3 or more times a week
-to compete in a tournemant

My activity cn be done basically on any day there is no snow. So I'll be able to participate for at least three seasons a year. My plan is to take two-to-three biking trips a week in the morning before classes or work. On three of my off days per week, I'll hit the gym and work on some muscle building. If the weather is really horrible, I'll ride my stationary bike for a given period of time to keep in shape. some different obstacles include time, weather, and my location. I'lll overcome the time thing easily because you have time for what's important to you and staying in shape is very important to me. I can't control weather, but I will have a stationary bike inside so I can ride on bad weather days. And I don't know where I'll live, but I'll just find the closest trails I can and use my time wisely. I probably won't participate in group events, but I may ride with a friend or two and eventually, if all goes well, the wife. My goal is to participate as long as I physically can and be able to ride as far and as long and at the pace I want. i don't intend to be a crazy enthusiast, but I want to participate and be in good shape.

An unfortunate fact of snowboarding in NH is that you can only do it during the winter. So durning the winters I usually go snowboarding at least twice, sometime three times a week during peak season time. This gives me ample snowboarding time per week because when I go to the mountain I usually stay there for at least 5 hours. There is no way to avoid the obstacle of only being able to board in the winter, only travelling some place that is much colder with snow on he mountains year-round. Another obstacle to participation is the price of gas, as most worthwhile mountains are a 2 hour drive away. A way to overcome this obstacle is to carpool with frineds and have everyone chip in a little bit for gas. that way the ride up is cheaper, and therefore you can go more often. I will also snowboard on the NCA school trips that go every saturday. going with a group like this is a great way to maintain accountability as our friends will encourage us to go. But snowboarding will not and cannot make up my whole fitness plan as it does not cover all the bases and not often enough. So snowboarding is extra on top of my tri-weekly weight lifting routine.

Planing for life long participation in running could prove a little bit tricky. You are the only one who can possibly come up with what to do. Everyone is different, and to have life long participation you need to see what your limitations are exactly. A good way is to stay involved. An idea is to take classes in walking or running, or at least do it with other people. That can bring safety to running, and also can be a lot more fun. Another thing to do is to stay in shape. That is a biggie. Come up with your own regimen. Mr.V's FITT principle is a good place to start. Working out 4-6 times a week, or a little less if your body has trouble adjusting. You never want to over do it. You should gradually increase what you want to achieve. Setting goals is important for life long participation, but be sure to set reasonable ones. Also, try not to get hurt, but sometimes there is a natural tug on the body when running. Many runners often experience shin splints. Take care of your legs if you want to run. When shin splints happen, take it easy on the running. Eventually the body or (your shins) will adjust. Those are some ways to stay involved in running, and to keep the ability to participate.

You can swim year round. Whether its indoor or outdoor.

I already am an excellent swimmer, and i swim as much as i can.
Next year, i want to join a swim team.

Since swimming is a lifelong enjoyable activity, i'll be doing it my whole life. Its a great therapy for both mind and body.
