Extra Credit

For those of you who are lacking the 120 hours of fitness log participation or need to make up for past grades. Here is a last chance extra credit assignment:
  • Write a 1-page summary on each of the 5 components of physical fitness (5 pages total). Include a detailed description of what each component is; how you are, or are not, incorporating it into your own person fitness plan; and what exercises you might participate in to focus on this component.

Due no later than Tues. 6/17. Assignments can be emailed to me at sean@gracefellowship.org

Presentation Schedule

Presentation schedule for Final, Semester Activity project.

Presentation guidelines:
  • Content should take the entire class period.
  • Students should special arrangements for space, equipment, presentation material ahead of time.
  • Should consist of exposure to each of the W.E.L.L.N.E.S.S. components
  • Should include the use of visual aids
  • Should incorporate some type of skill instruction, game strategy, etc.
  • Use the assignments you have done all semester to help you, especially your lesson plans :)

Activity Lesson Plans

The next assignment will have you acticulate 2 seperate lesson plans to help you instruct the class on the basic history, rules, techniques, strategies, etc. of your activity. The handouts distributed in class may be used as a template for these lesson plans or you may make up your own form.

Remember, each student will instruct the class on their activity during 1 class period later in the semester. So use this assignment and the others to prepare you to do a good job on your presentation later on!
